Presentation to St. John Ambulance Cadet - Odeon Cinema

The St. john Ambulance cadets met at the Odeon cinema Burnage every week. We learned first aid, but also studied for different certificates. eg fire safety etc. The picture shows a cadet who has obtained an award for covering all the certificates. and got an award similar to the duke of Edinburgh award. The manager of the cinema let us be on duty during some of the films. we did our fire safety training at the London road fire station. I am on the right on the front row. My friend Alison is in the middle on the back row. We both used to live on the Burnage garden village.
