The Hempnall Group of Parishes was set up in 1964. We have a number of special events planned throughout 2014 to mark our 50th anniversary. At the end of 2013 we launched our anniversary books and memorablila, and on 9 February we marked the Valentine's season with a service of Renewal of Marriage vows. Other events include:
20 April: Bishop Alan joined us for theEaster Sunday Serviceat 10 a.m. at Hempnall Church
24 & 25 May:Open Gardensin Topcroft: on a gorgeous day, gardens and refreshments were enjoyed by many visitors.
24 May: TheCharity Football Matchorganised by Hempnall Football Club was much enjoyed by all present, and raised £281 for our chosen charity,Toilet Twinning.
2 July: Confirmation Serviceat Hempnall Church with Bishop Alan.
12-13 July: Group Flower Festival
3 August: open-airLammas Serviceat 11 a.m. on Fritton Common
28 September:Pilgrimage around the villageswith Bishop Graham, finishing at Hempnall Village Hall with champagne and cakes
