Leonora - Working Life: Job Description

Leonora talks about her job taking minutes at Council meetings, traveling all across north-west, with locations ranging from south Cheshire to Barrow in Furness. She would take 200 pages of shorthand each meeting recording all the sanitary inspectors, and discusses meetings, teas etc.

She describes not working after marriage, with her husband following the precedent set by his father-in-law. She would spend much of the day traveling, before returning home in time to cook dinner!
